1/6 isn't bad on freekicks.
Always aim to get the power bar to about half way obviously.
If its close pick a good FK taker with low shot power and hold down when you're taking it so he does a week freekick. Depending how much swerve skill they have you have aim a little bit further right to where you want it to go if you're player is right footed and vice-versa for left footed. Close freekicks are easier on pes 2011 ive scored quite a few.
Same principles for mid-distance but pick someone with higher shot power and do it normally except adjust aim for swerve again.
If its from 30-40 yards. High shot power again and hold forward as you shoot and he will hammer it at goal, you rarely score these.
I have an ok choice of freekick takers. Gourcuff, Bale and Diego all have about 85 over freekick rating.
I can't figure out how to save penalties though, my keeper always stand still no matter where i point and what i press.
