I still have the fat version of the ps3, bought it about 3 years ago..
And it still works perfect, it depends on how much you play with it..

I'm sure that my ps3 is still fine in 3 years, I never use it that why..
Everything breaks down faster if you use it alot, Xbox get's the ring of death
and with the ps3 it's the blueray players that breaks down most of the times.

They don't always get the RROD, and the new generation ones, can't even get it, so problem sorted with that
