2. Id rather a variety of versions, the arcade gives a nice option for people to get a 360 for the price of $200 instead of $300 for the 60GB version.

There is a good difference between the 2 system's controllers, but they are both really good. I had a PS2, so it was a little weird when i first used an xbox controller. I dont really care for the PS3's triggers since they dont click, which is what i was used to with the PS2's L2 and R2.
One big positive that i will say about the PS3 is that it does a WAY better job at up-scaling DVD's to 1080p.
