[DFL] Dogs For Life – “we don’t die, we multiply!”

Brief History

The DFL Clan has constantly been playing the Las Venturas Playground Server for just over a year and a half now (Late 2006). Our Clan originated from the country of Australia and has spread all the way to the US. DFL has many Elite members which have never turned down a single fight. Our gang name stands for “Dogs For Life” we chose this name to show our compassion to one another and also symbolize that we are a “one man army” that do not fear anyone which comes our way!

Gang Affiliations

DFL is proud to say that we are currently close allies with the [MC] gang, they have consistently been there for us many times in the past and have helped us in a number gang wars involving the [BB], [BA], [SAW] gangs. We thank them for their continued support and hope to stay allies for a very long time.

About Our Enemies

Unfortunately we have many enemies on the server that try to flame us and report us on things which aren’t even considered to be cheating…for example, throwing grenades NEAR the ship (not on it). (I [DFL]Strapped got jailed for 10mins and [DFL]Pi5tol actually got BANNED for a few days). This is unacceptable treatment and has lead to a lot of controversy throughout LVP. We hope this unfair treatment does not happen again or we will be forced to take this issue up with higher authorities.

We Are Constantly Growing

We are also proud to say that there has been a rapid growth of players registering as part of the DFL gang, especially in the last couple of months! This has lead to other players getting intimidated by our very large gang size. (Over 15 people) We have worked long and hard to keep our gang up and on top and still strive to meet the crucial needs of ALL our players, such as:

.Financial help
.Firearms
.Safety

What does it take to become a DFL?

.You must play on LVP for a Total of 5 hours per week
.You must never Cheat or flame any player(s) for no reason
.You must have a PING under 400

Ok as I, [DFL]Strapped read through the comments on this thread, it wasn’t to hard to see that there were a number of players from the LVP Forum that are posting negative comments against us and are holding a really nasty grudge against the DFL gang.


The main reason of me posting this quick update is to try my very best in resolving all the criticism recently posted by the players of LVP against DFL. I will ONLY be going through the comments that I feel are mature and legitimate statements or questions that should be responded to. (Shall We Start??)

DFL Weren't Born in late 2006, that's BS!

People are complaining “claiming” that we didn’t start playing on this server in early 2006. Ok you got me…I admit that we didn’t have the “[DFL]” tag in the front of our names back then, (we didn’t know how to change it, we acquired the DFL tag in mid. 2007) but we were definitely playing as a gang on the LVP server in late 2006 and that’s a fact.

“Driveby Dogs for Life”

Players are calling our gang “Driveby Dogs for Life”. Attempting to do a drive by on another player that is asking for a clean fight is ethically considered to be a “Cheap Shot” I do not encourage my gang members to do that and I will be definitely speaking to [DFL]Jimmy about this issue. However at the end of the day it doesn’t really make a difference if you kill someone with a dildo or a sawn off shotgun, “killing is killing” when you type “/mystats” the kill will be recorded and also, the last time I checked this was a “Deathmatch Sever”.

Do you still think that we are the "Drive By Dogs for Life"?

[DFL]Wolf...Imposter??

In response to “GTA_Rules” statement about the guy that was wishing cancer upon others. I have no affiliation what so ever with “[DFL]Wolf” and to be honest I didn’t even know about him until you posted that screen shot (page 2). He is NOT apart of the DFL gang in anyway. I am pretty sure that this name was registered by one of our great enemies to act as an imposter and give DFL a bad name. To resolve this issue I will be updating the “DFL Gang Hierarchy” on this thread very soon. In the Hierarchy I will ONLY put the names of the Official/Genuine DFL gang members and can NOT be held responsible for any other DFL that is not stated on this list. In simple terms, all REAL DFL members are going to be shown on the list and for the rest which are not, they aren’t apart of DFL…


I will end it here for now and hope that other gang members can relate to where I’m coming from and can understand that the players that were mostly mentioned were fake and for those who weren’t I will be having a word with them. Hopefully this update puts an end to all the haters out there and gives our gang a better name.
