Nice ... good to see that you do have some intelligence Ryder  :>

There is hardly anybody on LVP (apart from TEF) who you can have a decent conversation with about this shit.

Life can be from HUGE AND ENOURMUS THINGS TO small and almost invisible things. We dont knwo how big the universe is but we can expeculate how big it is we can be very accuarate or far from reallity. Some people say the "universe" is a esphere, i believe on other universes and that there will be always be one universe/star/planet/life  bigger and smaller that another  :)

And to back it up, believe it or not, in Earth, only 1 percent of water is drinkable. So imagine how much water we wasting. But since u saying if theres water theres life, there could be many negative things about the water on other planets. Whether its salty, dirty, etc etc. Yeah scientist try to find life in other planets, but what about the storms they find? What about the temp of that planet? Etc etc. Theres so much to learn about Earth that we havent uncovered and they spend time trying to find life on other planets. How would they solve problems in other planets if they havent solved the problems in Earth yet??
Many people think finding life is finding another human being  which isn't true

It is a theory. And besides, the whole universe, spectrum, fuckin galaxy is 2 big for anyone to know. We discovered close planets. But i highly doubt u can think or say how big other planets would be without traveling that far.

Also even if they did find a planet that has human resources we live by everyday, it would take decades and decades and decades to just set in that place, so imo its a waste of time searching for planets at the moment. Deal with the problems u got here first. Overall it would be interesting to learn/live/experience about the planets and their sizes etc etc.

When they say "where there's water, there's life," they're referring to any form of life, such as microorganisms that live under the ocean. Honestly 'dirty' water has nothing to do with it.

TEF'd ban you for hinting that aliens possibly exist.

Sort of naive to think that in this massive universe, we wont find life. While I don't believe we will be visited by advance extraterrestrial life forms (well I haven't seen any definitive proof on the matter), I do think that possibly within our solar system we will find some kind of life. Hopefully when we send a probe to one of Jupiter's icy moons we might find some signs of microbial life.

Possible prediction, of finding life.

lawl, u guys do know that scientists also realize that the planet's atmosphere has a lot to do with whether or not it can sustain life right?

If its too hot then there wouldn't be any water, and if its too cold there wouldnt be any water either.

Sooooo maybe if theres water there could be life.

With the right pressure, water can be a liquid at pretty much any temperature. As the pressure of water rises, it's freezing point lowers. That's why they believe there is liquid water under all that ice on Europa, despite it's low temperatures.
