So this is what i got from your opening post:

You don't like Vista because it runs sa-mp like shit so you want to get a 2000 euro Mac. OSX will not run sa-mp so your going to have to run Windows Vista with bootcamp to play sa-mp. Please explain to me what progress you have made by buying a Mac.

PS: Windows 7 ftw!

OK! Lets demystify mac right quick. I know you see everywhere douche bags acting like the Mac is the second coming of Jesus Christ. Those people are one of two things: gay or vegetarians (stop me when i lie).

In truth, Mac is just Unix with a huge price tag. And buying a mac so u can run vista using some emulator or whatever . . . is not the way to go . . . buy a decent PC at a fraction of the cost of a Mac and get XP or Windows 7 (i havent personally played with 7 so i dont know if it's just a bunch of hype spread by tools or actually a good os).

Please, for now, if ur a gamer stick with Windows. Unless ur savvy enough or have enough patience to toy around with the alternate OS'z out there, and if ur savvy enough, why not just use Linux? it's free! (Not as in beer, not in this economy).

I will explain...

1. Windows 7 defenitely works on BootCamp, XP too...

2. An iMac with Snow Leopard, an Intel core 2 duo 2.93 GHz, 2x 4Go RAM and 512 Mb video RAM on an Ati Raedon HD 4850 ***against my actual PC*** a f**king HP Pavilion with Vista, an Intel core 2 duo 2.10 GHz, 3Go RAM and 512 Mb on a Nvidia GeForce 8600M !!!

3. Installing Vista on BootCamp is pure shit !!! I can pooh on my future Mac if I install Vista on it !

All the reason why I'll buy an iMac and why I want to eradicate Vista of my life : when I mod my GTA IV, Vista doesn't support .dat files, so it opens another explorer.exe and then the whole Windows Explorer is laggy, blocked and impossible to being explored (Vista do this in many many different situations, not only with .dat files) ! When this probleme happens in some special conditions (that I don't know wich ones) my whole computer can crash !! When, like I said, I play on SAMP, it can crash every 30 min... When I play on GTA IV with many trainers or mods (weapons.xml modified, one trainer, and 3-5 scripts for example), it can crash cause the computer doesn't have enough memory to support objects, peds, cars, effects etc... When I want to make videos with GTA IV, I can wait 2 hrs to have 2 min of video, yeah 2 f**king hrs !!!!! Also my poor Photoshop CS4, who's so so laggy when I use it, I'm a photographer, and taking 3x much time to work on a picture when you have to work on 500 ones, is very hard to accept !!! Thanks to HP health care who makes crash my computer when there is a "potential" probleme of memory ! YOOHOO ! Thanks to Vista, who keeps hidden some apps I want to uninstall ! YOOHOO ! And many other problemes I met during my Vista experience... Thanks for the HP guaranty, who killed my PC when I had to repare it, now I can't use the second hard drive, 130 Go that I can't use !! And the recovery feature that I can't use too !!!!!!! Woot...

Do you understand why I want a Mac ? I read all the news about Snow Leopard this afternoon and I were surprised of OpenCL and Grand Central Dispatch, this two things are extremely nice !!

Also, with BootCamp, I can instal XP or Windows 7, as my taste !

I will also have a damn screen of 24" inches ! Damn, in my entire life I've never seen something like this in real ! I will cry when I'll play to GTA IV on a screen like that !!!!!

So tell me now Cloakster, 1 269€ for my actual PC and all the problemes I had with it and 1 899€ for a Mac, the possibility to install Windows, the extraordinary quality of Snow Leopard, the nice TimeMachine app, a awesome screen of 24" inches, 640 Go on my hard drive and some very very nice graphics, do you think I'll make a bad choice ? Srly ?

Srly guys, I know that Mac isn't incredibly awesome, the god's computer etc but I know that all the people I met with a Mac were more satisfied than with theire Windows experiences !

Yeah, in fact it's all about money, my very first choice was a MacBook pro (june 200

but I had only 1 500€ so I decided to save some of my money and take a HP...

But now I need more, I made experiences with computing, I know many more things now so, let's go for a mac !

Yeah I know that I can have something better with the same price as an iMac, but I dunno anybody on my city who can do something nice and cheap, and I don't have (and don't want/need to) enough infos to do it by myself...

I just want to have a Mac experience
