Mafo if you use SAMI tool for installing car mods, it will automatically backup the files it replaces. So for example if you install alot of mods and then you crash after installing your last mod, you can go to SAMI, open it, choose " uninstall a mod " click on the one you would like to remove and then your game will not crash ( assuming that is the problem mod )
Also, when using this method, don't install lots of mods at once. Install one, run the game, see if it works nicely, then install the next one and do the same, check the game works after each mod you install to avoid having to uninstall lots of cars. Also after each mod use " IMG Tool " to " rebuild the archive " as it's called. Rebuilding the archive is like making sure all your files are in the right place. Similar to " Disk Defragmentation " on XP etc.
