Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 09-10-2012 Nice recs man. I just realized I never really post local bands, which honestly need it more than your bigger ones. I recall posting Okera a while back but here's some Aussie goodness from some of my favourite Australian bands: Arbrynth: Arbrynth - Blood Red Skies Arbrynth - Words of the wind Arbrynth 06 Black Veil Okera: Okera - The Black Rain Okera - A Beautiful Dystopia Chaos Divine: Chaos Divine - "One Door" Chaos Divine - Beautiful Abyss Arcane: Arcane - The Seer Arcane - Asylum: Acolyte Zero AMDBL: A Million Dead Birds Laughing - Hydra (NEW SONG) A Million Dead Birds Laughing - Beast (NEW SONG) Hemina: Hemina - For All Wrong Reasons (Australian Progressive Metal) Dead Letter Opener: Dead Letter Opener - Yours and What's Mine Video Aeon of Horus: 3C321 Aeon of Horus sleepmakeswaves: Sleepmakeswaves - one day you will teach me to let go of my fears Sleepmakeswaves - What We Cannot Speak Of Must Be Passed Over In Silence Re: Extreme Metal - Maka - 09-10-2012 Holy hell bro, that's a lot of dough to plough through. I'll check out all of them tomorrow. I do remember you recommending me Okera and I'm certain I've listened to Abrynth before, but I'll let you know my opinion about all of it tomorrow. The main reason why I don't post many local bands is because there isn't a lot impressive going on around here. I'll try my best though to recommend some more underground metal from around the Flemish part. Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 09-11-2012 You can stream the entire Okera album here: http://okera.bandcamp.com/ Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 09-11-2012 (09-10-2012, 05:46 PM)Maddolis link Wrote: Chaos Divine: Fuck this is such a beautiful song. Re: Extreme Metal - Carcass - 09-12-2012 Neurosis "Locust Star" live love neurosis Re: Extreme Metal - Maka - 09-12-2012 Still need to check out your post Madd, but I was just thinking of a Belgian band: coRPus - Dilemma (Demo 2011) Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 09-13-2012 Sweet track man, I'm liking another one off their demo too. Re: Extreme Metal - Maka - 09-13-2012 All right, I've listened to the first couple of tracks so far, up to the last Arcane. I really dug all of them, and as mentioned before, definitely heard Okera and Abrynth before. I'm really liking Chaos Divine, and Arcane was sublime too. I'll check out the rest of the post sometime later today. Also, lol: http://shop.themountain.me/nekrogoblikon/ Re: Extreme Metal - Maka - 09-16-2012 Does this forum get censored or something? If I recall correctly, Fat_Cobra posted that video about Muhammad/Islam yesterday that stirred up shit in the Middle-East, Sydney, et cetera. Is he for whatever reason not allowed to post a public video? Or is he not allowed to state his opinion? I know I shouldn't really be posting this here, but I'm aware making a topic about this crap won't get anywhere with the state this entire community is in. So much truth, right here: http://www.smh.com.au/opinion/society-and-culture/an-open-letter-20120915-25ziq.html Re: Extreme Metal - Fat Cobra - 09-16-2012 ye could have been some good discussions about it like if its right by google to make the video unsearchable etc but ofc not, admins are too politically correct to let ppl have a own saying. take it from someone who knows since i live in Sweden |
