Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 03-16-2012

I liked all of those links, the Divine Temptation isn't exactly down my alley but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
The Epica was kinda funny, but in a good, epic(a?) way. Enochian Theory I may've heard a track or two before, but I enjoyed it. Unholy Matrimony was a bit more my thing, but that Gorod was fuckin sweet!

Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 03-16-2012

Kiske is great, but for me Heiman is the quintessential power metal vocalist:
Heed - Moments

Re: Extreme Metal - Maka - 03-16-2012

Yeah, I'm definitely getting some Amorphis later today. Heiman does seem to have an interesting voice actually. I'll be looking into that too.
But yeah man, those Gorod and Blinded by Faith albums were sweet. Out of the ones I posted, the Divine Temptation was the least favourite too. I dig the instrumental, but the vocalist isn't my cup of tea.

Do you guys like Cradle of Filth?

CRADLE OF FILTH - Forgive me father (I have sinned) 2010 (HD)

Cradle of Filth - Her Ghost in the Fog (Full Video)

Re: Extreme Metal - Maka - 03-17-2012

I'm personally not that fond of Cradle of Filth. They just don't do anything for me.
Currently watching the F1 qualifications on BBC. Goddamn Melbourne looks like such a sweet city. Lovely weather too.

Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 03-17-2012

Hahahah Melbourne? Lovely weather?
Yeah I suppose if you consider 4 seasons in one day to be lovely weather.
St Patricks day was great fun though- I won't be heading to the Grand Prix but I may watch some on the tv if I'm up early enough :P

Re: Extreme Metal - Maka - 03-17-2012

Well what can I say! It was sunny as fuck when they were broadcasting!
St Patty's day huh? Didn't know you guys celebrated that as well. I've seen some words about it on facebook but we don't really celebrate that around here.

Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 03-18-2012

I must say the Irish are crazy- in as polite and complimentary way as possible.
