I am 90% sure that is possible, because we already have Briefcase minigame, with random spawn places and random collect place, I do not know if these places are choosen randomly or are selected from a list, but probably are selected based on linear distance, and due of road network most times some players are advantaged... this sucks!! Sooo... a Random Race minigame should have all players spawning in same place with similar car, but not same car every minigame. Personally I never need to look on the map to get directions, just once to see finish line. I will try to choose different route than others... just to be different. I am against hiding blips, may be helpful for newbies. With or without blips, most will follow others anyway, and is good to allow them see how far away are from others. Due of variety of routes, the chance of getting again same route and same car will be low, the best route may depend from car to car, so is hard to copy the winner's route. Some limitations: No Sabre / Clover, too few players can drive it to other side of map without blowing it up. No race to top of Mount Chiliad with Taxi or Caddy, these have max climbing ability of only 25-30 degrees. On other hands, I want to race with trucks and bikes, so make it to not end if we leave the vehicle. Re: [S]Random Race - iLz.12 - 03-26-2010 that's a great idea |
