Las Venturas Playground 3.0 is supposed to be for Multi Theft Auto. (I believe they still have some progress made with it, too.) ;)

3.0 will be a complete rewrite, 2.90 isn't.

Actually, it was originally planned for SA:MP. "LVP 3.0 will be released the same day as SA:MP 0.2" is what they used to say. SA:MP 0.2.0 was released over 18 months ago. And beleive me, there hasn't been any progress on 3.0 for a while. There is no way that 3.0 will ever be done on MTA.

If it was up to me, and I had the time, 3.0 would just be done on SA:MP, scripted in good old pawn, with all the features 2.90 has now + way more. We don't have the man power for it though.
