Given to the Rising and Times of Grace are my favorites so far Re: Extreme Metal - Maddolis - 08-09-2010 Check out my Neurosis patch: http://tshirtslayer.com/item/assorted-patches-and-cds?# See if you can spot HaZe's avatar while you're at it
Re: Extreme Metal - Sean3 - 08-09-2010 Man i was listening to Machine Heads the Blackening yesterday, was having a blast. Great lyrics too lol Re: Extreme Metal - HaZe - 08-09-2010 (08-09-2010, 02:34 AM)Maddolis link Wrote: They're excellent, I think I'll check out their album.i thought you would like them ![]() (08-09-2010, 07:11 PM)Sean3 link Wrote: Man i was listening to Machine Heads the Blackening yesterday, was having a blast. Great lyrics too lolmhmm, i got to see them open for Metallica, they're great. that album had A LOT of passion in it. "Aesthetics Of Hate" is a response to William Grim, who wrote an article on his website, The Iconoclast, titled "AESTHETICS OF HATE: R.I.P. DIMEBAG ABBOTT, & GOOD RIDDANCE", attacking Dimebag Darrell the day he was murdered & attacking the metal community as a whole for paying homage and respect to the slain guitarist. To say that Flynn was angry at Grim is an understatement, but you can't blame him. Flynn looked up to Dimebag as countless metalheads did. Re: Extreme Metal - Jakez - 08-10-2010 I saw machine head live 3 times, fucking brilliant, although my most recent encounter with them ended up with my busting a knee cap.. They were still fucking ASWESOME. Halo, Slanderous, Now I lay thee down and Davidian - fucking epic. PS I met Phil Demmel and got my ticket signed (Machine Head Guitarist) Re: Extreme Metal - HaZe - 08-10-2010 (08-10-2010, 12:01 AM)Jakez link Wrote: I saw machine head live 3 times, fucking brilliant, although my most recent encounter with them ended up with my busting a knee cap.. Flynn's charisma is like no other Re: Extreme Metal - Maka - 08-10-2010 Just listened Aesthetics of Hate. I'm amazed. Re: Extreme Metal - Jakez - 08-10-2010 Asthetics of Hate is a long and meh...song. In my opinion, to let your anger out with a baseball bat, listen to Slanderous (xD) If you want a BRILLIANT layered thrash-metal song, listen to Halo. Let me know. |
