Dude you're not even allowed to drink alcohol .
Re: Whisky topic - Hitman - 03-19-2011 blue label all the way? come on, who would spend 150€ on some blended shit. you'd get 3 awesome single malts for that. Then again i believe what WLproxy says
Re: Whisky topic - Gaahl - 03-19-2011 Just tried the Macallan single malt 12 years, it's really good: pretty light in your mouth but still really fresh, and doesn't have a lot of peat taste too Re: Whisky topic - Hitman - 03-27-2011 Had lots of bourbons in the last few days and weeks, but i kinda feel like drinking some nice single malt scotch again. Any recommendations? Max is about 30€. I dont want blended stuff though, i have 2 nice blends here, im looking for a single malt. Since im going to drink it with a friend of mine, it would be cool if the whisky wouldnt have much peat (or however you call it).. I dont really mind it but my pal does. So yeah... 30€, single malt, no peat. Any idea? Was thinking about Glenmorangie 10Y, but im really not sure Re: Whisky topic - Gaahl - 03-27-2011 @Hitman: Awesome http://www.themacallan.com/shop/detail.asp?pid=841014 Re: Whisky topic - SolidRock - 03-27-2011 Macallan is good stuff indeed, had one or two glasses of that one. Since I like peat in a whisky myself, it's hard to recommend one without. I think you should also have a look at the Glenkinchie 12. A soft whisky with a rich taste and very little peat. In the Netherlands it's a little under €30,- http://www.royalmilewhiskies.com/product.asp?pf_id=0010000035155 Re: Whisky topic - thePiet - 04-13-2011 How about Irish coffee ? Re: Whisky topic - SolidRock - 04-13-2011 I like an Irish coffee after dinner. Although I prefer a French one. |
