Sucks that people with such primitive knowledge in music seem to entitle what's good or what's bad music, that's exactly the reason why the mainstream music has turned into a big joke these days.

Your best friend,
HoogerBooger.
Nr.1: I don't really know what Trance/techno is, other than repeating beats and twisted dolls who sings in a baby's voice.
Nr.2: Please stop being a wiseass. It dosen't suit you that good, really. Even you don't know everything.
Nr.3: Who is Chris?

I bet Maddolis joins for this conversation too. He always have something to say.

1. Trance and techno are very different genres of electronic music, but the people seem to take them as one these days for some reason which is utter bollocks :/ Firstly the tempo of trance is normally between 128 - 136 BPM and techno is somewhere in the range of 140-150. Trance normally has all the uplifting melodic elements combined with beatloops to make it mixable but techno opposed to that is very monotonous with extremely hypnotic and repetitive flow. For instance the people who still think that shit like Scooter or Cascada classifies under techno might as well reconsider their musical knowledge because it IS NOT techno.

2. I have never claimed I know everything but let's face it, I do know alot about music and it sucks to read that people have such a primitive knowledge which leads to so many prejudices.

3. Chris750xD or whatever that was spelled like.

Maddo-man will only start flaming again, I have told him tons of times that he needs to put out this fire in his signature :/

I must say, I like your replies. I'll explain myself for the sake of this conversation. I don't know much about this genre of music, I'm more of a rock-person, and I know only dance to techno/trance when I'm really drunk. There. It's out.
I will not be participating in this anymore. Enjoy arguing people

minimal techno

One real talent that should get the exposure he deserves is Jorge Savoretti who pretty much sits on the throne of this great genre for me. I am pretty sure that in few years this guy is gonna stand next to the names like Adam Beyer, Claude von Stroke, Oliver Huntemann etc, mark my words ;)

Quite possibly the best trance song ever, made legendary by being included by Carl Cox as the first track in definately the best trance album ever, "F.A.C.T.".
