Hi,

I'm sorry to make a new topic for this, but it's because I can't reply in Darius'.
I totally agree on his point, also I understand, if we want a name to not be used, we could register but not use it, but I cannot possible register every name with GtA_Rules or gTA_Rules etc. Is there any way we could request the player to change his name? (If he's not aware of the existance of my name).

@ Darius, I'm sure it was him, when he first came in he also did that no-reload bug Deaken was informing you about.

You can request that, yes. Or ask us to help out if they don't.

However, it all depends on what your nickname is. Mine is very unique, whereas a name as Darius isn't really unique. But in the case of a [BA]darius it's quite obvious nicklaming.

Yeah I reckon it depends on the name.

GTA_Rules, for instance, isn't as original as some other names (someone else who likes GTA could stick that as their name).
Names like "Hitman" would also be silly to kick for nicklaming- but for more original names (such as 'Maddolis,' for example, which is 100% original according to google , or 'estroe' or something) there should be nicklaming kicks.

If 'Darius' is a name then 'Darius2' shouldn't be kickable, but admins could check if a [BA]dariuS joins, by checking their ip or pm'ing them or clanmembers if they are the real one.

yeah, there are lots of HITMANs online, but i dont want to get them kicked.

But if you're not in a gang, it's still not funny to see somebody using your name. Like Mark used to have Mark_ as his name, I don't think he would like to see a Mark_ ingame now.

lol, I see what you mean. I was indeed referring to my ingame name 'benbmyers'.
