turkey its not going to FUCK up your system   trust me on this and about the  2nd it works on Browsing only like being faster in loading the pages but wont effect downloads etc. 

Also with mozilla firefox?

Turkey yes it works with Firefox coz it effects the bandwith not the program you're using to browse
