This topic was always doomed to end like this. People actually think it's a good idea to post completely useless posts, why?.

We know some people will think the xbox/ps3 is better than the other, i happen to be one who thinks the ps3 wins. However, i don't make up rubbish nor do i try to spam our forums showing my opinion. I just hope some of you learn to do the same.

If I were you I would get a PS3. Until recently I have always thought the Xbox360 was better, but they dont differ that much nowadays in offering kinds of games. The PS3 has better hardware and a blu-ray player which comes in handy because HD-DVD is the big loser of the diskwars. The only downside is that it is quite expensive, the online option is free though which is a plus.
Oh, and if you are buying the console for GTA IV (I havent read the whole topic) I would get Xbox360 because it is cheaper and has the episodic content.

xcept about the GTA IV being cheaper for xbox..it's the same price. How did you figure that? and they wouldn't add extra content console specific. If anything they would add it to PS3 because GTA has, and always will be for Playstation. Regardless tho, they wouldn't add or remove content depending on the system.

I just realized what you were talking with the extra content, and there is no way in hell that xbox is going to get it without PS3 getting it aswell. PS3 might get it on a later date...but we WILL get it.

It was confirmed by Take Two and Rockstar that the extra content was gonna be for the X360 only. About a month ago they changed their statement and said that the extra content is for both consoles.

And yes it's near-guaranteed that the PSN service will stay free -- online gaming has been free on the PS2 for years right? You're chatting shit cloakster.

Since when does the PS3 have no hardware problems. The RRoD problem is now just as common as the PS3's Blu ray player not reading the discs anymore, which is one of the PS3's biggest problems.

Also, when did i say it was gonna change. Im just pointing out that Sony has NEVER announced that the PSN will stay free.

@Cave: Do you care about Blu-Ray? Thats sorta the biggest thing to think about here.

Absolute proof...no.

1) Multiplayer freaks are more likely to buy PS3 because of PSN being free =  $$$$$$

2) If you think for a second that gaming companies aren't paying to have demo's dowloadable on PSN your crazy = $$$$$$

3) Take "1)" and subtract the free part = Less $$$$$

4) Take "2)" and subtract "3)". People are paying for PSN, therefore Sony NEEDS content. The gaming companies say "fuck you. You need our content, and you arent getting it unless you take it for free". Forcing Sony to host it for free, or lose customers paying for PSN. = Less $$$$$
