About the gang base features that where being discussed on irc.

I think that when a gang has donated and gets there option to have a base created, That each base should not be allowed in Las Venturas, that way it will parse with the big main base that gangs will probably compete for.

Each gang base I think should have a few options:

- Possibility to spawn there.
- A dynamic interior, each one with a different Vworld incase other gangs like the same interior.
- A Vehicle outside. (With there gangs initials as the Plate, e.g C.T.4.LYF
- A Gang zone around it that matches there gangs colour.
- A welcome message when entering there base (sounds a bit stupid, but it will keep the nubs happy)
- A warning message when other gang members enter there base (Offcourse, only other gang members, because if it was any player, it would probably spam up a bit) with an option to turn the warning off.

In the new Main gang base, I think it should be created with objects, Making one ownage base, perhaps a little competion, who can Map the best base or somthing. (I'll compete), And perhaps a big gang zone in the middle of it, that flashes when attackers enter, and if the attackers kill more than say 2/3 of the defenders gang, they win the base, and hence the gang zone changes colour.

The main base owners should just get the same prizes at what they do in the current LVP - Health/Armour, and Money increase every minute

My name is Michael Corleone, and I am a gang leader called 'Las Venturas Mafia'. I enjoy and am involved with gangs like any other LVP player, but me and my gang have visited other servers, and got some ideas that would make LVP better. Not only with gangs, but the actual gamemode.

- A mailing system for a player or gang. If someone logs on, they can check their 'LVP Mail'. If a player is offline, they can mail a 90 character or more message that can go into some ones inbox system, even if theyre offline, they log on later and can read the message.

- Permanant Gang System, so if everyone in the gang leaves, and someone rejoins, they join the gang they we're last in.

- Terretories/Gang Shading for gangs (Like Purple, Shading on Maps like in SP in SA. Only, terratories wouldnt be shown on the map all the time, only when a gang war is declared. Onesidde would be orange, another purple or green, since these are the only shading colors avaliable in SA)

- Gang Balance. I dont know if LVP already has this feature (in my 10 months in LVP, I have never used it, or even know if it ever worked.) Basically, a feature where everyone in a gang can deposite or withdrawl (it can be pw protected by leaders) a bank for the gang.

- Ranking Structure Commands. As a gang leader, I have noticed that in 2.81, the first person who creates the gang, or joins the world, has all these commands that the other gang members dont have. If a gang leader is joining the gang as a regular member, the gang can be hijacked, and everyone kicked. Or color changed. LVP should have a ranking structure, where if a gang was a permanent one, like the suggestion I mentioned earlier, the gang leader will automatically recieve this power, as well as grant it or revoke other gang members other powers.

- Customizable gangs? - If someone contacts an admin for creating a permanent gang, an admin can go through a series of commands that will allow the admin to create the gang leader a custom gang. Like power names that can be granted. If I wanted to make LVM an official gang, I would

1. See if an admin is online.
2. PM him to have a permanant gang
3. Admin will see if he or she has requirnments
4. Admin will ask for the details of his or her gang.

If I wanted the /gang grant (user) coleader, his screen and rank would be : Las Venturas Mafia Underboss. But the rank Underboss would be customizable, and queried during the detail process of gang creation. Like if another gang wants rank or power 1 (leader) to be named 'Warchief' then it would be Warchief.

Those are all the commands and suggestions I have for now...I'm tired, and If I was awake, I could think of more and possibly give you the actual code for this. (LVP is in Lua?)

An idea for the gang base..

I was thinking you could make a gang base interior. What you could add : Health increase, armor increase, sawnoff shotgun, Tec9/UZI, and a money stack spawn. What interior would it be? an interior that you use to steal  items in a house, 'Robbing'. Each gang could randomly have one of the houses. The interior could be in the back of the golf ball course, so there is no interior laming. If there is anything else, email me back and i can get it in

What'd be cool would be letting gangs buy gang houses if the gang donates, so this interior stuff is available. But, everyone still fights over the one base?

These other gang bases would be outside LV, but because they wouldn't be ones to fight in and such unless another gang wants an ambush, it'd mean that you don't get gang wars for 20 million different bases, and would encourage gangs to donate on a regular basis.

Like you can buy a town in SA. Like Blueberry, or a gang base in LS?


- Another thing that I thought was pretty cool, yet simple is the Shamal interior.

Gang wars could be fun, yet intense, if somehow LVP can implament a passenger interior into shamals, like the party server has. A player presses 'g' (or the vehicle enter button) and they are teleported to the shamal interior. The pilot of the gang will fly over the war area, and the members inside the plane will walk onto a red circle to teleport back and outside the shamals location, like you can walk in and out of a shamal interior. However, the problem is, you need to have 2 interiors for both planes, because if you link the planes to one interior, well... 2 gang have 2 planes, and walk into the same interior....

If this doesnt make an ounce of sense, go to the party server and see what I mean with what they did with the shamals.

We could do this to other vehicles perhaps?

- Another idea - Enterable Properties.

Properties for a gang that can be RENTED for a certain amount of time, or permanent, depending what LVP has for the future on properties.

If someone has queried to create a property (how props will be created I do not know, LVPs desicion)
they can pick an interior. The RENTED props will have a defualt interior, but a nice one...
The property will remain the gangs for a time limit, depending how much they paid for it.

I like the idea about the shamal. I personally have witnessed such a system in the past, and it was quite good. Making it seprate interiors really is, easy! 2 words, Virtual World.

OK! I came up with an idea!

What if, some of us are extremely poor? And were lucky enough to buy spawn weapons, but right after we buy them, we time out! There should be a feature, where if you time out, you still have your weapons. But if you quit, then thats when they are removed. Justa idea.

Kind of old, But I was thinking of gang chat. Perhaps instead of using the "!" prefix, You can toggle Gang chat to be on/off so you dont have to use the prefix (well you could use the prefix too if you wanted, but most people dont even use the mainchat in gangs)

And also: /gang chat colour might be nice aswell to spice things up

There is going to be no prefix for gang chat, since there is a built in team chat. This is alot easier than a prefix. And about the /gang chat color, that could be a possibility.
