Need a New computer? Forget windows (doesn't deserve to be capitalized).

http://store.apple.com

There are three people on this forum that use a mac. Go ask them how they like it.

Ok, complete specs:

Asus P5K WS
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz 1333 6MB Box
Kingston 2x2GB DDR2 SDRAM PC6400 CL5.0
2x Samsung 500GB SATA300 16MB FDB, HD501LJ
1x XFX GeForce 8800GT 512MB DDR3 2xDVI/HDCP
1x Windows Vista Home Premium UK, 64 bit.

Total costs, € 963.- including shipping

"Old stuff"
1x 320 GB WD SATA Disk
1x 320 GB WD IDE Disk
1x 200 GB WD IDE Disk*
1x 120 GB WD IDE Disk*
* External disks
And this would make 1.8 TB total space.

1x Thermaltake Armor VA8000
1x 17" TFT LG Flatron L1715S
1x 20" TFT Samsung SyncMaster 203B
1x Logitech G5
1x Logitech G15
1x Samsung DVDRW

Including this stuff, I guess the total price is more then € 2000.-
But all the HDD's are at least 2 years old, the 17" is bout 3.5 years, the 20" is relatively new, about 1 year, and the keyboard/mouse also somewhat near 1 year.

Oh, and I have also a new USB stick :+, next to my, exactly same, 512M version: Corsair Voyager 4G
