Airstrip Bug

Just been online for about an hour, while playing I taxi'd to airstrip. Then I thought my game had frozen, but for some reason it was having major lag problems. Not just me alot of other players were complaining about it too. I saw someone say something about the planes spawning at the airstrip. Thought I'd better report it just to see if anything can be done about it.

hes not talking about that. well its the same subject because all races startline has been bugged. the cars wont stop spawning and there is a air race on that airstrip at the other side. meaning theres about 20 Nevadas being spawned

Well since the function, Destroyvehicle is highly Bugged, Its going to be hard to find a work around.

This is the 'major lag in parts of LV' bug, because as most of you may know there's an air race on the end of the runway @ Verdant Meadows.

We're currently tweaking the handler in order to avoid this, and are actively working on ways to workaround the DestroyVehicle bug.

It has since been fixed but that was the 1st time its ever happened to me and I didn't know what was going on. Thanks whoever fixed it hope that it doesn't happen again.

I have (possibly) some more information regarding this from playing tonight. When this bug hits and we get a mess of cars spawning at a race start location, that race is also "locked" and you can't start it. For example, when the bug causes a mess of Infernuses to spawn at the race1 start point and you try and start race1 you get the error message that the "race is already in progress" all the time.

No, that has nothing to do with this bug, thats a separate bug, Races locked after some time
This lag problem is 100% due to vehicles which aren't destroyed.

Then why do the two problems appear to happen to the exact same races? When I checked yesterday, every race that was inaccurately "locked" also had the spawn lag. While it could have been coincidence, is it not possible that the core of the problem is that the mode thinks the race is still running (which is why it's locked) and that is the reason that it either doesn't destroy the old vehicles or mistakenly spawns a bunch of new vehicles?

Apparently it was coincidence as the two weren't the same today. Sorry.
