Whats Better Firefox or IE

I use both, prefer FF and I will say that my download speeds are way faster with FF than IE. I dunno maybe my settings in IE need to be tweaked, but straight outta the box I say FF has always been quicker for me personally.

But i have heard of some tweaks you can do in your computer settings to make your internet connection go faster,like increasing the amount of requests to the master server.

I'm sorry for all the MS bashers, but.. Firefox faster then IE? Neh-eh. Just "simply better"? Based on what?

IE is faster in almost every test.
The fastest is, and has always been this way, is Opera.
So, are you still saying it's faster then IE?

BTW, FYI, blabla: I'm using Firefox for 98% of the time, 1.5% Opera, and 0.5% IE.

The problem i have with Internet Explorer is that it is vulnerable to just about everything. Just using the browser puts you as risk for some horrible virus. In fact, the last time i used Internet Explorer i did get a virus and ended up reformatting my comp because i could not get rid of it. (I spent 3 hours cleaning out the registry and deleting infected files and I still couldn't get it off.) So with that being said i use Firefox just about 100% of the time.

What i like about it:
1. Way more secure.
2. Themes & Extensions
3. Way simpler than IE7
4. Looks way better then IE7
5. Is for the most part an open-source project. Which i like because it will always be updated and will always be on top of the latest threats and exploits. (Firefox 3.0 Beta 1 FTW!)

So yup that about covers it.
