IntroductionAs you've probably read by now, my name is Peter Beverloo. I'm an 18-year old programmer from the Netherlands and founder of Las Venturas Playground. Since just before the first internal beta-versions of San Andreas: Multiplayer I've been dropping in the IRC channel every now and then, which got me interested. Shortly after the release of the first version, 1.0, I founded the Gathering of Tweakers server, the preceder of Las Venturas Playground. Why it got renamed to LVP, in all honesty, I forgot and would love someone to remind me of it.

Anyway, after some months of busy work, helping people with scripting and being around in the IRC channels alot, I got promoted to being a SA-MP Betatester in August 2006. In the following months I spent loads of time learning and researching things around modding Grand Theft Auto, which eventually led to me being one of the San Andreas Multiplayer Developers, as well one of the persons knowing most about the internal systems of Grand Theft Auto.

Next to that I'm a web-developer Zend certified in PHP. I have extensive knowledge of (x)HTML and CSS-based layouts, as well as Javascript and other technologies coming into view with web-developing. Usually I freelance for companies and other webdesign-related-companies, although I tend to work for friends and family as well. With this is basic knowledge of Photoshop, ASP, slicing available ofcourse. I do, however, prefer normal programming in languages as C-, C++ and C#, based on what the customer wants. I'm also quite experienced in reverse engineering and general memory research, which led to a huge IDA database on the subject of San Andreas.

Well, I can be a total retard at times too. Finally I want to add that you shouldn't believe what Rico says about me, he's lying regardless <3
I guess I can answer that, since I was there at that time :P
Our main focus is, and was Las Venturas. This was because our initial gamemode was based on LVDM. (Las Venturas Deathmatch)
All the minigames, races, derbies, the cruise start and properties where located in Las Venturas.
So, take the LV part of the name, and think about a nice part what matches our server.
You can do almost everything you want: A playground.
Las Venturas Playground (LVP) was born.

At this moment we are, of course, still located in Las Venturas, but nowdays a lot of properties, races, derbies and other minigames take place in the other citys.

Hey, Peter, you, specially, and all the developers & Management crew are heroes for me...

I think LVP is the best server in whole SA-MP, and not only because of the features it has, but because all the polite admins and players there're on it.

Let me congrat you, because you've have a veeryyy great job, I'm sure there are very few people who can keep up with a server like LVP is.

In spite of all problems that happened on these first January days, I just wanna give you a breath, because I and everyone knows we sometimes have hard times in our lifes, and we gotta be strong in order to beat them.

I wish you a very good luck, and I know you'll have it, because with all your talent very much doors will be open up for you.

Cheerz,

Johnson
