Why is everyone moaning about auto-aim

Joypad auto-aim is NOT, i repeat: NOT classed as cheating on sa-mp ffs. I am sick of everyone moaning about it!! If auto-aim was classed as cheating, It woudnt be synched in sa-mp and it wouldnt be in the actual sanandreas game! SO GET IT INTO YOUR HEADS: IT IS NOT CHEATING!! You can also auto-aim with keyboard aswell! Use CAPS LOCK to do it!!! there is nothing wrong with, and no, its not what noobs do, a LOT of people use it that arn't noobs!! if people dont wish to use it, its up to them, but dont use auto-aim as an excuse if u get owned!!!! I even heared that somme1 got kicked for it ffs!

The last time there were many conversations about autoaim using a Joypad. Someone even was kicked once because he had an autoaim function of his Joypad on. The guideline for admins is that autoaim with a Joypad is ALLOWED. But autoaim using a cheat remains DISALLOWED.

What's so funny about using an auto-aim anyway? Don't you think its more cool to shoot someone all by yourself instead of an auto-aim? Besides, I don't like the whole thing about auto-aim, I don't think its more fun for the player to use an auto-aim?

For example. Whats the fun of using an money cheat? So you got all the money and you can buy anything and do anything you like? So many aspects of the game get lost then.

I think its the same story with auto-aim. Normally you have to learn to shoot someone right. Getting skills. Do some good tactics while shooting etc. These things get lost when using auto-aim.

This is just how I think about it.

Btw: Now I know why Grove always talks with CAPS on.

Lame.. in what way?

Using a joypad gives you:
- Slower movement
- When auto-aiming you can't move at all (If im right)
- Auto-aim doesn't hit very well

So, 3 disadvantages.
Shall we do the advantage of using a joypad with auto-aim?

There isn't, because it just don't hit very well.

Why can't you just make your point calmly and sensibly rather than shouting and screaming calling everyone idiots. Anyway auto aim is just a lame thing to use, theres no point making the computer aim for you anyway if you have any skill you can aim yourself.

I think that's the point. What skill is involved in using auto aim? Perhaps pressing the button at the right moment so that you lock-on to the target and not your team mates? You kill someone using it and you think "I owned them" etc, when in fact it was the computer that did all the aiming for you, you just pressed the trigger button and moved around a bit. I'm not saying it's cheating, but it is a lame thing to use and indicates someone who lacks the skills to aim for themselves.
