now, so I must start by saying I am completely unbiased surrounding this issue, here's the story:
I returned from AFK, which I often do, saw that GhOstZ[GgT] had $750,000,000 in cash and a $1,000,000,000 bounty. Upon seeing this, I was excited, very excited, I was discussing with GhOstZ what he was going to do with the cash (he spent all day saving for his Premier account) whilst we were talking, George, took the opportunity to use and abuse his Admin power, to spawn grenades ON THE SHIP, threw them, he saw that GhOstZ lost his armour and had about 50hp after he threw a few. Under the impression that he would stop before killing anyone, nobody screamed or said 'stop stop', he simply carried on, killed GhOstZ, got the kill ($1bn bounty) and the $750m in cash went down the shitpan. 

Now I asked George, are you going to return the cash which you were factually responsible for? His answer was "no such thing" and apparently he was "testing whether weapons damage on the ship works" he seemed more amazed, but didn't appear to offer a refund to such a player, now, in my 92 hours of playing, I have never seen an Admin throwing grenades on the ship in the name of a test. This was incredibly unfair and I believe it may be swept under the carpet, due to it being such a reputable member of the community. All I want is for GhOstZ[GgT] to receive a refund, and George to be reprimanded for his unjustifiable actions.

Weapon damage is not supposed to take any effect on the ship at all - players are supposed to have godmode. What I typically see happen is health or armour disappear, players leave the ship, and then health or armour re-appears. The Ship area is extremely buggy - everything from the ability for players to spawn vehicles on it, to using weapons by entering at a certain point, to sniper headshots causing death. I didn't know that he was going to die from my grenades, as that's not supposed to happen - and not too long ago, it didn't happen. Exactly what has changed, I don't know. There are cases open on GitHub to address these problems.

Yes I was dicking around - this is part of what we do (we = the admins, the players) - it's part of what makes this community. Would you rather we be as dry as a bone?

Well it's not exactly resolved to be honest, let me address a few points:
-you came from The Strip, after engaging in combat with several players, there was no reason to do this and furthermore, there were no other admins who were there with you testing any so called 'bugs'
-you chose the exact spot where GhOstZ was crouched to throw the grenade, you repeatedly threw them, GhOstZ ran, and you chased
-you didn't give any prior warning, which you would have if you were in fact testing a bug
-i've seen ingame GhOstZ has only $1,000,000,000, whereas it should be $1.75bn
my final point; you shouldn't get away scot-free for this, you know what you did because as soon as GhOstZ died, you ran from the Ship to escape liabillity, I suggest you start taking more care in the future and stick to Admin duties.

I shouldn't have done this without first consulting with the player in question, I fully agree. I have apologized to the player concerned.

Regretfully I can't give him back that amount as commands won't allow that much in-hand cash to be restored. Seeing as he was just 7 hours away from a Premier bank account, I have added those hours + maxed out his bank account to 2 billion - not something we would normally do, but given that I screwed up, I'm happy to do this

I'm closing this thread as there's not much more that can be said or done. If the player in question wishes to discuss it further, he's welcome to PM myself or any other manager and we'll gladly do whatever we can to put wrong, right
