i remember when portugal was like jhon described, everyone together and shit really caring about the national team. totally different spirit from nowadays, since scolari left the portuguese national team has gone to shit, especially cuz back then scolari wouldnt take anyones shit and he'd call the players who deserved it, not the ones who are represented by jorge mendes. cunts.

That's perfectly understandable, it's very frustrating when you see this kind of "mafias" fucking everything up. In our case the ones who fucked up were a previous generation. Most of the current squad is very young and are in a world cup for the first time. In all fairness can't have anything against them because they've done a big effort and it's worked so far.

As some say, if you don't score your chances you'll see the rival score them. Ecuador had a GREAT chance and wasted it, and immediately after Switzerland killed them in a counter in the last minute. Well deserved victory though, the Swiss were clearly superior at the end of the match. Luckily it didn't end up in a draw.

Honduras had a real bad time in the first half, then a penalty kick against and a red card. They're gonna have an even worse second half. France has been doing very good but still fail in the last meters of the pitch. Hopefully more goals will come on the second half though.
