I never thought Scolari was the one to blame (well, up to some point. He could have called up some better players). Despite him leading Brazil to their fifth cup in 2002 a coach just can't make magic out of a team that just isn't as talented as what he used to have. If we compare current Brazil to the one in 2002 (imo one of the best national teams ever), just wow. No standing point. Since the beginning of the cup, if not earlier, Scolari must've thought "shit, this isn't going to work".
Congratulations to the German team, yesterday's was a very thrilling match with some great ocassions for both teams. Well deserved winners, and such a nice goal by Mario Götze.
