LVP 3.5.1 is live!

As you can see, we've just updated Las Venturas Playground to 3.5.1! Lately, there has been some fuss regarding updates, reverts and server restarts. That's because we're currently redesigning and rewriting most features and fixing related bugs. And as we're going through these changes, we're also writing a documentation, accessible by anyone: development.sa-mp.nl/documentation.php

Here's a list of the most notable changes:-

- New vehicle layout.
- Ramps were removed due to popular demand, although in the future we'll introduce a stunting platform.
- LVP Radio is live again!
- Disabled a few experimental features which didn't work properly.
- Fixed several critical bugs which could cause server crashes.
- Updated /rules, /commands and /help
- It now takes again 2 sniper headshots to kill a player with full health/armour.
- Vehicles take damage again in the whole Las Venturas area.
- Many, many minor bugfixes.

This update also fixes all bugs introduced with 3.5.0. We're currently focusing on developing a stable gamemode; in the next versions of Las Venturas Playground, we will address even more bugfixes and redesign other features. So, stay tuned!

to get rid of the black screen when you log on simply /taxi to any location and you will spawn there, and all will be fine!

They wouldn't work, and require an even higher amount of work to get running flawlessly. And we'd lose years of work.

We're slowly working towards being able to go open source... . Including our editor (the LVP Pawn Editor), the LVP PreCompiler, custom plugins, and so on. There definitely is no date set for doing all of this -- maybe not even in 2012 anymore, as it requires a tremendous amount of work, but it is a goal for the development team.
