cannot play MP

Hay,
HD crashed so now ive reinstalled GTA on a new HD. Played 10 secs SP (mouse didnt seem to react when triyng to ook around but hell) dowloaded 0.3d-r2 (or something) MP server choosingboard comes up, inserted serverip, but when i wanna play (any server) it starts up SP with white screens except for the R-sprayed logo and i get te choose "start new game" ->  or gives an error report....
Please HELP

Is your game the right version? Make sure you downgraded it to 1.0.

Never had to do that and when i want to do it anyways it comes with an error about wrong located GTA map which is bullocks.... thanx anyways estroe, try again please? If nobody has a clue, than i can maybe reinstall it again.... hoping that works.... dammit, /findpresent is the best game of the year and i get stuck with my old shitty laptop to play it?!?!? Well i let you know what happens when i reinstalled it, thanx anyways (case not yet closed)

Nope, didnt work strange thing is that it didnt ask for any licensecode when i started SP....
Any ideas left?

lol, copy/pasted the gta folder from old laptop to newone did the trick... partually.... now i need to figure out why my mouse doesnt work for viewing left richt etc. any ideas about that maybe?
