That pretty much sums up what I think about this.
I dont think Obama would hold that speech if they werent sure he was dead already. Question is when was he killed? Now or many years back?

There is 0 proof that he is dead, same for him being alive, like I said, the US government got videos, death certificates pictures EVERYTHING when killing Saddam, yet all we get for Bin laden is the US Governments word, again, they chased him for so long they could of atleast collected sufficent evidence to remove all doubt to the people that this raid did infact happen and that they did infact kill OSAMA and not just another random group of terrorists. But all we get told is that they dumped him at sea because its customary for muslims to have a burial within 24 hours of death, which to me just says "perfect excuse because we didnt bag the guy in the first place"

I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole thing.
I'm glad enough that the guy's dead, I guess, and perhaps I'd go out into the streets to celebrate the end of a war, but not to celebrate someone's death.

yea and wouldn't it be fucked up if the only reason they said this was to get our minds off of more important things? honestly it wouldn't be that hard to fake and most American's are just gullible enough to believe it.

Meh, at first I thought the same thing, that they will retaliate and attack us. But they have made plans on more than one occasion to make another attack since 9/11, but we have been able to find out more and stop things quicker, so I don't think it will be an issue. The war is still going on, but a bad leader has been taken out.
