3D Modelling...anyone do it?

So over the past few weeks I've been playing around with 3D modelling. Just for lulz. And it got me wondering if anyone else here does any too?

As you can tell, they're all aircraft cockpits

So yeah, anyone else tried it?

A do it as a job at this moment. For my engineering drawings i make 3d models.

My assignment is with a FInite Element Analyse programm. Go to TNOdiana.com and you could see what i make with it.

Also i Work with Inventor, 3ds max, solidworks. But didn't made drawings the last time. Too busy.

My mate made the whole metro system in 3d programs and converted it to the game microsoft rail simulator.

So you can drive trough rotterdam , he made models of whole trains and the stations and the route too.

Yeah I'm working with 3ds max right now, got a free copy of the 2008 version from college 

That's awesome about the rail simulation thing xD I think Fireburn would be interested in it very much.

Have you got any tips about using 3DS? I completely suck at the moment, since I haven't seen any tutorials yet.

I already fly planes, just not the big ones yet

I would make something for GTA SA if I knew how to import it, although it wouldn't be of much use since A. I don't play GTA SA and B. I suck at modelling

Random "tips" are to ahrd to tell via internet/chat. And i am not that well known in 3ds to learn you good tricks. There are shit loads of tutorials on the internet.
