Couldn't be arsed reading the entire topic so here is the most simple answer possible:

Using any kind of command to avoid death is never allowed, whatever the circumstances.

What if you use a command but it's not to avoid death / fighting?

And what if you're waiting for /taxi and you're waiting a minute and you vanish like 10 seconds after someone shoots you?

What do you mean with the first one? If you're using /taxi when someone is starting to shoot you, it's considered evading death as well.

If that's the case, you typed the command before someone shoots you. That is fine yet hard to prove. Depending on the time of course. If someone types it, you come 5 seconds later when I have a 10 second wait, I'll be gone in 5. Doubt anyone would report that. But if you have a 3 min wait or something (you just taxied but went to the wrong location and typed it again so you would go there when you can), you will probably be reported and warned/jailed/kicked whatever.

There is only one thing which I don't agree:

- You can use the /teleport command to teleport youself to a person even if that person is almost dead.
- But you cannot use a command to avoid someone if you are almost dead.

I'm not saying I never teleported to someone to kill him/her, however I think that is unfair. It's only my opinion ,but perhaps something should be changed about the teleport system.

 

This kept happening to me one day.  A certain player, with full armor and weapons, kept teleporting to me as I spawned and blasting me.  But after I died the first time, it wasn't a big deal.  Dieing is like falling off a bike.  Once you...  ...no wait, how does that go?
Actually, it was kinda funny, because this guy had a great number of kills, so he said, and he ended up being my first two kills.  I don't think he liked being killed by a noob.
