Love this discussion. This is a personal feeling wich one you hve to buy. People make arguments about the other console. Even if they never touched it. I have both...and i have to say, both are great.

Playstation:
- Better for an entertainment system (blu-ray, 7.1)
- Free online experience
- More expensive

Xbox:
- Better controllers
- Better online experience, even if it's not free
- Forza 3 motorsport, halo:reach
- Works great in a network because of the windows media center 
  support.
- cheaper

But in the end it's a personal discussion. If you only want to game, buy the xbox360. Not the slim 4gig. 4gig is not enough because for example installing forza motorsport 3 only costs you like 3 gig.

You mentiion you like the blu ray player, but still you have to buy blu ray dvd's and they are more expensive over dvd's.

+ you can stream HD movies on your xbox, I dunno how much it costs, as I haven't tried it yet, but it's possible :D

You mean netflix? if so you can do it on PS3 and Wii lol
