I still don't get why you guys say that lol, I run Maffia 2 with +10 fps (both games everything on low), but Maffia 2 doesn't have tons of small effects like GTA IV does. But meh, maybe it's me

What? You can't be serious man, everyone knows that GTA 4 is not optimized for PC, infact very few games are optimized good these days anyway, or either they are ported (thanks to consoles). Well, Mafia 2 is very well optimized for PC and runs smoothly. PS3 has shitter hardware than my PC, but it still runs GTA 4 smoothly and in good graphics, reason is, it's optimized for PS3. IV is a bad port indeed. I can run GTA 4 on medium to high, but without shadows, because when I turn on shadows, even on low, it causes a lot of fucking lag and it still looks shit. It made me mad that such a good game has to be such a bad port, hence rockstar sucks balls.

I run IV at 20-30FPS, textures on high, reflection on medium everything else on low, vsync off, definition on, a filtering on x8/16 (doesnt make a difference), all the "draw distances" on 50 and resolution on 1024x600.

Mafia 2 is the opposite of GTA IV, I can run it pretty smoothly, 25-35 fps average on low with a pretty much outdated computer, I dont even reach the requirements. I do reach GTA IV's requirements but I cant run it smoothly, with dem settings on low.

I ran GTA IV at about 70 or 80 FPS I think. Note though that I turned my shadows off, because somehow mine had all these little lines in it, which made it look ugly. It isn't optimized indeed, and God, do I hate ports.

Mafia II doesn't have TONS of little effects that make the game awesome like GTA IV has. GTA IV is more intensive for obvious reasons.

Mafia 2 has as good graphics as IV, I believe. It also has a lot of detail in it, just like IV does. The fact here is, Mafia 2 is optimized, IV isn't.
