#1
when ever i restart my computer my task bar freezes for atleast 5mins... everything else is clickable except for the task bar, did any one had/have this problem before?

i wanna know how to fix it :?

When did this start happening?

Wouldn't surprise me if you got some kinda virus or spyware.
If not, it's hard to say what's causing it. Might be something like this or one of the other ten million possibilities. Google is your best friend!

proably a some mulicious sofware, highly recomend:
http://www.superantispyware.com/
http://www.malwarebytes.org/

i had something like this also before, but it frozen at startup splash screen,
scened my pc with these two and problem was solved...
what antivirus are you using anyways?

One thing you can do, boot it up in "safe mode" and go to run, type in MSconfig, go to the start-up tab and un-check any unneeded programs @ startup. Make sure you only stop programs you know because most of the stuff on there is important stuff needed to allow your system to boot properly. (This is only needed if ex: you have low ram and processing space)

.. Are you using windows XP? If you have automatic updates on with windows XP you are pretty much screwed, the newer updates for it are absolute trash, and cause a lot of startup issues and slow down your computer a lot. If this is the case there is pretty much no going back and must reinstall windows.

If that is not that case, may you post your PC specs please?

He's definetly using XP, that used to happen to me too, or someone else. Anyways I can't remember, all I used to do is just terminate explorer and then start it back up.
