I bought GTA IV lastnight, installed, runned the updates, and when i try to load ofc the CD-Key comes up, and i click ok, and then AVG errors come up and i get a message saying game could not be run at this time? :/

Try disabling AVG?

I recommand you downloading TuneUp Utulities 2010
It fixes all problems you have on your pc.
It's very good, it made my pc lags less when I used to play GTA IV on my PC.
Without TuneUp, i wasn't even able to play GTA IV..
So, give it a try

avg is just shit, fake alrearts and never blocks malware...

@Holden: just google for a fix, i bet theres thousands more GTA IV users with AVG lol, im sure there is some kind of workaround... if not, just disable it or put the LaunchGTAIV.exe on the whitelist? :O

uhh.

Yeah, I use AVG, and I have IV on Steam, and it works.

But yeah, try what Matt said, might work :D

There was something said about it not happening when not meeting requirements, but...

My computer beat's the minimum requirements, gonna try that program now Weezy, thanks.
