Firstly I want to know what those of you who have played it, think of it. I personally think it's amazing, better than GTA4, even though I kinda miss bikes and there are only 2 or 3 stylish cars in the whole game, which is a shame. I heard they released DLC for that though.

I got Mafia 2 last week and I'm happy with it so far.

Except...the first mission in Chapter 3 (you meet Derek) it crashes as soon as I lift a crate which is shit. I tried searching for a solution but it seems I'm the only one who has it.

And yes, I beat all of the recommended requirements and my PhysX is up to date.

2K has confirmed a DLC called "Joe's Adventures", which supposedly plays during the time when Vito is in prison, I dunno if it will give us any info on what happens at the end of Mafia 2, but we can always hope.

Mafia 2 is just a bad ass cool game, 1000x better than any part of GTA. The only thing that I personally don't like is, that there is no freeroam mode (like in GTA) at the end of the last chapter.

The DLC has freeroam mode, in fact, the DLC has so much freeroaming that there's no story to speak of.

Mafia 2 is awsome ! , I dont agree with you when you sayd its better than GTA IV , the driving style is a little complicated , but over all a GREAT game ! Recomanded .

The driving style is complicated because it's to make the game realistic. It won't be realistic if those cars were really fast.

Very disappointed overall, from a prequal that was a masterpiece to a sequal that's decent AT BEST after 6 YEARS of development says a lot.

Story was rushed and full of holes, didnt have an attachment to the characters like you did in the original, shorter than the original and doesn't even have basic features that was in the original Mafia (Jumping, Crouching, Shooting from the car, Free roam already in the game, Side missions etc)
The only things i prefer over the original are the gfx, soundtrack and Gunplay/Melee combat, everything else is inferior.
Then the whole dlc coming out straight after the game to rip ppl off fiasco and overall it's just a ok game that ends way too soon and that was rushed out the door even after 6 years.
