2. Holden is from Australia; I believe it's Australian English, but I'm not entirely sure. I honestly never bothered with spelling differences in Australian or Canadian English, only British and American. As far as I know, however, it's only used for the rubber thing that allows your vehicle to move. I'm not sure if it applies to how drowsy one is, but I don't live there so I won't go making assumptions. (... Upon further thought I believe it's actually used as an alternative spelling in British English as well, but I've personally noticed more siding with "tire.")
