Which civ should I use?

hmm, I guess I'll give the Ottoman a try then. I never really liked them because they constantly spawn settlers, but at the same time, big huge cannons are awesome.

Played AOE2 at the age of 6-7 lol. AOE II along with WC II - best strategy games ever made.

Hah, I was kinda hesitant about using the Ottoman at first because their TC constantly spawns settlers, and when I played as the dutch I usually only needed about 20-25 settlers to afford everything I needed, but it turns out that the constant supply of settlers pretty much forces me to build my economy stronger and stronger.
Plantations made for a nice substitute for my banks, and Jannisaries seem to kick quite some ass, even though they're the only unit my barracks can make.
I'll continue playing tomorrow and see how the Ottoman's army is, compared to my hundreds of skirmishers and heavy cannons/lil bombards I used when playing as Dutch.
