Have you ever ate "escargot"? (That's cooked snails, typical french dish, looks slimy but tastes great!)

Just so you know, "un escargot" is the French word for snail, not the dish. Nor is it a typical french dish. I've lived in France for 7 years and never eaten them, never even seen them on offer anywhere.

Have you ever noticed that half of the questions on here are related to things that the asker has done and want's to know if he's the only person who has done it or not, just to feel better about it if it was something stupid?
