It's a new game from different developer, stop talking shit :z

+ I got Fifa and MW2 for £25 on day of release, after that they are £40 ;)

Not really new developer they've been at this for a while their previous game WaW was essentially COD:4 (although with some obvious differences). The whole dedicated server thing... I fail to see how that and single player merits 60$ This still looks like a Cold War Era DLC pack.

What would you define as a sequel then? They are offering new features, like Custom Class 2.0..

A whole new engine?

SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT CUSTOM CLASS 2.0 IS.

Just watched a few videos on the CoD channel, really they over dramatized it BIG time again, I'm not expecting much but another MW2. That MP teaser was what killed it, just seemed way too overkill.

These to me aren't "new features" these are just buzz words that attempt to justify paying 60$ for DLC content. Its not an opinion everyone shares, but thats how I see it. The series has become stagnate due to Activisions need to churn out sequel after sequel of all its titles.

What makes a good sequel? Thats a tough one to answer as no exact sequel follows a set standard (COD vs BC). Although to me whats been going on with Activision and COD does not constitute a series that can receive my respect just because it can spam a sequel every year. If one believes EA business practice (madden game every year) can produce great games then go ahead and buy em.

Lighten up, guys. If you really are not expecting much from it, don't buy it and you won't be disappointed. Some people are really expecting this game and can't wait for its release. I mean, sure, everyone is free to express themselves, but posting more than once to simply "restate" your general idea of not expecting from it shouldn't be necessary.

Yea its pretty coo, I think there a few things it missed, but overall pretty well done. It's going to be interesting to see what IW does now since they've left Activision and returned to place they began... EA DUN DUN DUN!

There is still another sequel out on the horizon under a different developer

I can't really argue about Black Ops. Activision is sure pushing its developers to make the same franchise for money. Just like MW2 made millions and it was a dissapointment, so will Black Ops.

My own friend said, "regardless if the game (black ops) is shit like mw2, im still buying it". Activision is going to make millions of blacks ops like apple is making millions of iphones.
