So, I don't know if you people read books, but I sometimes do :D
Post your favourite books, and then the one you read most recently, and rate it.

Favourites: Mika Waltari "The Egyptian", Paulo Coelho "The Alchemist".

Most recently read: J.D.Salinger "The Catcher in the Rye"

I'd have to say Hop on Pop, but Go Dog Go has always appealed to my sense of adventure.
Honestly I'd recommend either of the above two to beginner/moderate level readers.

I've readed 6 of the 7 Harry Potter books, i liked them.

I've also readed some 'typical' dutch books. The (just a loose translation) 'How to survive the crash, Summer, autumn, winter, spring'. But also the 'scary' (although they werent scary at all) books of Paul van Loon (Also dutch)

J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher In The Rye" is the second book that i actually enjoyed in my life. Its one of the best books anyone would ever read.

The Pearl by John Steinbeck

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson.  Speak was the first book i ever read that i actually enjoyed, it was really good.

A couple of stories based on mythology in Greece, like Trojan Horse, etc etc.

I got 6 books of Jeremy Clarkson. The only ones I read. I'm Dutch, but I got the English versions.

The best one is "For Crying Out Loud". Although it isn't a full storie, I give it a 10/10 because I really don't like books, except his ones. And I lol a lot of times :')
