Serious Help with PC
#1
Well i need some serious help with my pc. This all started when i used to have Win 7. Basicly what happens is when i turn on pc, it goes to HP Invent screen, where it shows to press F10 and F12, blah blah blah. Then it goes to this black screen saying "Reboot and Select proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot Device and press a key". On Win7, this would show up, and i would turn off the pc and turn it back on, and it wont show it. But now, since i downgraded to Win XP, i have to restart my pc 3 times for it to not show. I let it slide but im getting really bothered by it. Any help? suggestion?

Have you looked in your BIOS to see what it's trying to boot windows from? Make sure you have HDD selected, if that doesn't work, try putting the windows CD in while you boot up and it should be fine.

Although Hitman is going to post below saying "Bullshit, Jordi if you don't know what your talking about stfu." or something kind like that  :D

[probably silly]Are you sure your HDD isn't broken? I had a similar problem with my PC not recognizing the HDD & thus being broken[/probably silly]

Do you have any USB drive or external hard drives plugged in? It looks like its trying to boot from something else other than your main drive. Also do what Jordi suggested.

I only have 1 HDD, so if this is broken, i doubt i can use the pc.
