Once actually a lot of games using DX 11 will release, the 5770 will be too slow to play them properly anyways, so why bother.

haha you're so wrong guys.

DX11 is actually easyer to run then DX9.

It's the resslation witch need most performance. Witch also could be turned of in most games for best performance.

Still, DX11 gives you a boost.

BattleForge DirectX 11 vs. DirectX 10.1

dx11 is better thne dx9 in battleforge, cool, have another example? guess not.

Just cos a game supports DX11 doesnt mean it runs better.

PS: The performance "increase" in Battleforge with DX11 is just a few FPS -> http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/hardw...directx_11

There aint many DX11 games on the market atm. But you can always download the Unigine Heaven benchmark and turn on DX11, turn off Tesslation. Then do the bench, after do the same in DX10 mode.

I promise, you will get a surpriseĀ  ;)

There is exactly 1, which is Battleforge which is shit.

Once there's more then 20 up2date DX11 titles, the 5770 will be too slow to run shit.

I've run both Stalker and dirt2 on my hd5770.

Runs perfect. If DX11 will need more or less or quite the same as dx10 will only the future tell.

I would go with a cheaper CPU before going with a cheaper GPU.
