What i would do is to search on head-fi.org.

Just some general remarks:

Besides quality, it also depends on the sound signature you like to hear. Different brands have different sound signatures. Often bass is excessive and lack of mid's and highs but lots of people like that.

For me the best sound quality versus price is still sennheiser. Because at very high quality (like the shure SE535 or UE 18 pro etc) you pay a very high price.

Bose is generally overpriced with a bad sound signature (excessive bass and highs, lack of mids) and inferior build quality. You might impress your friends with it, but its not always the most known brand thats the best.

Anyone have thoughts on these?:

I lent my brother my headphones and he lost them -.- So I thought I might as well get a gaming headset.
I'm saving all the money I get at the moment, so I don't really want to spend much more than £20 on a pair. Anyone have any suggestions which might be better than the one above?

there are a lot of cheap brands like trust or even logitech, you should pay them around 15-20 euro, but you can't really find high quality headsets for that price....

Or spend 40-45 euro and you can get a wireless sennheiser headset (or about 30 for a wired one), I had one and it was great, until I trampled over it while I was drunk :X

Yeah but I'll just be pleased with a cheap set which'll last me at least 5 or 6 months. Not looking to fork out 50 euros on anything wireless or fancy.

Looking at these now. For the price, the reviews seem pretty positive.

could be a good option, I used to buy HD202 when i was younger and i bought them several times so i was quite happy with it...dunno about 201...cause it didnt exist at the time. And seems like the pricetag won't hurt your wallet either. :Y)

Just got the HD201's today, only 18 euros. They're amazing for that price - compared to what I was using before, in any case.

Definitely recommend for anyone on a budget.
