Barret 50 call is fun at moments, to spray around & hope you hit someone . I'm trying to get better with the standard sniper & standard scope though .

And yes, it does actually, if you miss your first shot with a barret & then the guy comes up to knife you & you spray you kill him most of the times. Then again, I'm not using it often, just if I see one I pick it up for fun

Silencers drop damage output quite dramatically. (from 40-30 to 40-20) And, for some reason using a Red Dot Sight on that weapon has the same effect, so I suggest you either use an ACOG or just use the ironsights.

I don't think it does drop it on all guns. And are you sure on the RDS there? I never really noticed anything with that. Although they die easier with ACOG sometimes(it seems).

@Matthias: Learn to use a real sniper, like the M40a3 or the R700. The others are just used for spamming. Especially the 50cal. The others are used fine unless it's a noob shooting it. Which is most of the time, actually.

I can snipe with a real sniper lol, I use M40a3 all the time, but I just had a couple of real nice (and lucky!) shots with a barret 50 call last week, picked one up, 3 noobs come up to me & BAM!

There's no difference between RDS and Holographic sights afaik, except for that the Holographic sight is slightly bigger. It's just personal preference on which sight you like most, although I prefer the holographic on most guns because it looks cooler

I thought it was only on the AK47.. ah well, never gave me trouble. And I don't use silencers in my classes anyway.
Probably not as there hasn't been a patch since 1.7. But you may be thinking of before 1.7. I dunno, never noticed anything.

@Matthias: Ah ok. 50cal sucks either way. Spamgun that makes a lot of noise but does the same(kill ) as the snipers that require some skill. Anyone could just spam a few bullets at someone and hit. With the R700 and the M40a3 you need to actually aim and hit in 1 shot.
