FIFA vs PES

Surprised a topic for this hasn't been made already (or I can't find one).

So here it is! Keep your posts calm please and no flaming.

This is talking about FIFA and PES in general, not just FIFA / PES 2010 or 2009 etc.

In option 5 it means you're kinda like me and don't like either more than the other (though I prefer FIFA usually), but you might like PES 2009 better than FIFA 2009 but like FIFA 10 better than PES 10.

If you like more FIFA versions than PES versions, then the FIFA option is the best choice, not option 5. So if you like FIFA 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010 and like PES 2008 and 2009 then option 1 is the option to choose. If you like FIFA 04, 05, 06 and PES 07, 08, 09, 10, then option 5.

PES used to be better then FIFA, but i've basically quit FIFA in 2006, cos all newer versions were basically just updates, not actually a new game

Uhm...FIFA actually started getting better after 2006...so unless you play them, can't say much. In 2007 it was just an update, 2008 had that Be A Pro, and 2009 had more Be A Pro seasons and some other stuff, and the mouse + keyboard settings and FIFA 10 has a new seasons mode where budgets and board expectations are excluded from the campaign.

I always liked fifa almost have all of em but yes mostly same gameplay and stuff i didnt play pes that much but if i had to choose i would choose fifa

Last one i played was FIFA 99, so fifa it is! i remember how epic this was in 1998...watch the World Championship in France and then play the matches against my cousin on 1 keyboard xD.

I remember the one from 99 and 98, the indoor football was just great. I miss that in these FIFAs.

It's almost same as Fifa 09, they just created new manager mode
