7 is better than XP and that's it. I've been on XP for freaking years and years. I have Vista on my laptop and used the laptop like two months in total, and haven't touched it anymore since. My sister uses it now.
7 is the best OS I've been on, by far.
XP is ancient, it shouldn't even be an option. It was good back in the day but now with more RAM being used you need a proper 64 bit OS that handle it all. Not to mention some CPU's run better with the 64bit. And don't say XP 64 bit because it doesn't even compare to Vista or W7 64bit in terms of performance.
lol a 64bit XP is shit... atmĀ Vista SP2 is the best 64bit OS you can get, its more compatible to things than Windows 7.. altho im pretty sure that W7 will get the same hardware/software support updates etc onceĀ its service pack 1 is out.
Vista was kinda incompatible with hardware since its first service pack, after that it just rocked.
