It's a strong bourbon whisky of 50,5%. It says that it has a very rich taste for a whisky with that percentage of alcohol with flavours of vanilla, honey, cinnamon and soft fruits. It also should have a touch of the oak cask where the whisky has been aged in.

To me, it sounds quite good and I would really like to taste it.

Rofl yeah it has 50.5%, what the fuck lol. Now I feel like tasting it lol. Gonna try it next weekend, ill post here with my feedback , whether the wild turkey is good or not :P

Ballantines is cheap shit aswell (atleast incase your talking about the "normal" standard bottle that you get in most supermarkets).

Cheap whisky really is disgusting, you should try a bit more expensive one, its really worth the extra cash $$

Altho if you just want to get drunk i'd go with wodka/lemon or bacardi/coke

Hehe Bacardi Razz is a nice way to get drunk :p. Drank a bit to much of that stuff on my last holiday  :X. The only whisky i've ever drunk was some Red Label mixed with cola, not my favourite drink but it's ok. But on the rocks i found it really disgusting. Maybe I need to try it some time again...

Love Razz. Though I need to say I usually don't drink rum or whisky. I should start, actually. Beer isn't really my kind of thing. Love Bacardi and Martini, though.

The problem that a lot of people dislike whisky is a result of the first whisky they taste; mostly a cheap one. Ballentines, Red Label, Four Roses, The Famous Grouse, all cheap whisky's but not very good ones. As Hitman said, you should go for a little more expensive bottle instead of the cheap crap. It doesn't have to cost a fortune though, but a bottle like 25-30 euro's is worth the money and way better then -for example- a Red Label.

Jack Daniels is always good to start with. But if you want to taste something a little more special, try one of these:
- Johnny Walker Black Label
- Bowmore Legend
- Glenlivet 12

All three are around 27 euro's (JD is 22 afaik). But remember not to drink too much at once, just enjoy it :+
