Liverpool 1 - 1 Manchester City (at Anfield)

It's a shame we only got a draw. We could have had a win there. We gave Man City a really good game and we did a good bit of attacking. If it wasn't for Joe Hart we'd have won that. He saved them on many occasions.

My MOTM is José Enrique. Behind him is Lucas.


Overall MOTM (for both sides) would have to be Joe Hart.


In other news, former footballer and manager, Gary Speed, has died. It's said that he hung himself after his brother went missing. It was only the other day my brother in law saw him on a football program. Can't remember what one it was. It wasn't long ago that he was managing Wales at the internationals (after he took over from John Toshack). He was still their manager when he died.

Craig Bellamy was withdrawn from the game against Manchester City because he was badly affected by the news.

He was only 42.

Since no one has posted it yet, here are the groups for the Euro Championship 2012.


Group A: Poland, Greece, Russia and Czech Republic

Group B: Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Portugal 

Group C: Spain, Italy, Republic of Ireland and Croatia

Group D: Ukraine, Sweden, France and England


Group B is what Devin/Terror calls the "poule of death". Group C looks pretty tough too. Lucky for England our only real threat in our group is France. Ukraine might be a problem though since we'll be playing them in their country. I think we have a pretty easy group.

Fulham 1 - 0 Liverpool (Craven Cottage)

Liverpool should have won while we were dominating the second half but either Schwarzer or the post kept us out. In the last 10-15 minutes Fulham stepped up their offensive game and Dempsey got the goal he deserved.

Harsh red card for Jay Spearing but that's no excuse. We should have scored when we were giving their defenders a hard time.

This has been a repeating pattern all season except this time we lost instead of drawn. How are we going to get into top 4 if we can't put away our chances?
