Until somebody uploaded or sent you that file, you could reinstall GTA SA like  20 times.

I know a way:

Copy your COMPLEAT GTA SA folder to any destination. Then De-install the original, and install it again.

==> Now you have 1 GTA without Mods and 1 GTA with all the mods.

Try it, and inform me if it worked.  :D

Thats nice that i could help you.
Remember:

==> Now you can play WITH your mods on the one location, and if you change the location,
you can play without the mods.  :D

Have fun. And i think we can /lock the topic now.  8)

on a side note; if you do install mods, make sure you test every one of them to make sure they work, if the game doesn't work anymore, you should know which mod is causing a problem. Installing a bunch of mods and then finding out that the game doesn't work anymore means you won't know which mod's causing the problem.

And obviously, make backups of the files you mod. :+

Lol ... a standard gta3.img is just under a GIG :O

Just re-install ... what I do is .. have two installations (well actually 5/6 but for this example I have 2) use one for mods, and keep one clean (no mods or nothing) so when you want to play a clean game you can, or if you corrupt some files in the modified installation you can copy files from the clean one.

Simples.

Edit: Similar to what Jeffry said .. didn't read whole topic -.-'

twilight hit the nail on the head. trial and error. Find the mod causing the culprit by backing up this new one, and testing all those mods you installed 1 by 1.

Good luck!
